Refund policy

Right of withdrawal (14 days)

Under Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014, you have the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days of receiving your order.

To exercise this right, email us at info.birdsjewellery@gmail.com with your order number and a note that you wish to return the item. We will reply with return instructions.

The item must be returned within 14 days of notifying us, to:

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except when the item is faulty or was sent in error.

You may handle the item only as needed to check its nature and characteristics. If it is returned with signs of use or damage, the corresponding loss in value may be deducted from the refund.

Refunds

Refunds are issued within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method as the purchase. We may withhold the refund until we receive the item or proof of its dispatch.

Size exchanges

If the size doesn't fit, contact us. We will arrange an exchange for another size, subject to availability; reshipping costs are borne by the customer.

Faulty items — legal warranty

All items are covered by the 3-year legal conformity warranty under Portuguese Decree-Law 84/2021. If an item is faulty, contact us with photos and your order number. You are entitled, free of charge, to repair or replacement of the item or, where that is not possible, to a price reduction or termination of the contract.

Transport damage and shipping errors

Check your order on arrival. If an item arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, contact us immediately and we will put it right at no cost to you.
